R4 Ranch Reference Animals

Sandman won several championships and was an integral part of the R4 Ranch for many years. His semen is still available in limited supply. Sandman was evident in his calf crops and bred in strong milking characteristics while adding horn and capacity at the same time. All of his calves had excellent dispositions and most were halter trained for show.

R4 Icing on the Cake was an amazing Sandman daughter that had multiple championships and delivered one of our best females in our herd: R4 Cheese Cake. "Icing" was easy to halter train and was a strong performer on the show circuits until being replaced in the herd by her daughter.

This amazing cow is a multiple-time winning Grand Champion and Autobahn Champion in her show life. She has produced two Autobahn and World Champions as well!

Sentinel was the service sire to R4 Icing on the Cake and gave us the amazing R4 Cheescake. This paring added the body and frame that we were seeking to add to our program.

This bull was a multiple time champion. He was sired by the great Sanddollar Discovery and out of the extraordinary female R4 Carrot Cake. He was test-bred to several of our heifers to see what he could add to the herd!

This female has done an amazing job transforming our herd by adding both Escalade and Cupcake influence. Her 2021 heifer calf, R4 Cake Pop, was retained as her repalcement.

This was Avery's senior sale heifer and was sure a good one! She was purchased by the Teels to be bred to our bull: I'm Groot CP!

We are so excited to have this female back with R4 Ranch! This cow has outproduced herself so many times. She is a daughter of the one-and-only Sanddollar Boomstick and out of CL Bellamy both of which hold multiple World Show Championship titles.

This amazing female is one of our matriarchs and is a foundation cow for us. She is out of a World Champion Bull and an award winning Cow and continues to produce show champions herself.

This bull had tremendous bone and width as he carried great mass. We are expecting his first calves in 2024.

This Bull was a major winner at most of the major shows he went to. Mr. B was named after Mark Brown....to prove that we had faith in good friends and great bulls!!

This LP Sombrah son was a pinnacle of change in our breeding program. We were able to purchase Motorscooter from Mr. Mark and Laura Brown of San Antonio Texas. This bull was gentle and passed along his smooth body and pleasant disposition to many calves in our program.

Cow - R4 Hallellujah. This cow as an AI calf sired by G&L Highjacker and out of one of our foundation cows - J's Lil Fairy. Hallelujah was best known for raising the gigantic steer, R4 Resistance, and the amazing female, R4 Clearly Hallie.

This heifer was sired by a world champion bull and out of an extremely strong Anchor T female. The genetics on this girl scream super sassy and show heifer!

Cow - Cupcake was a world champion longhorn female that gave us two foundation females sired by Sanddollar Escalade - R4 Red Velvet and R4 Carrot Cake. Several females in our herd can still trace back to these foundation genetics.

Steer - R4 Wolverine was one of the best steers that we have ever had the privelege of owning. He had the best disposition and won several titles throughout his show career. He will always have a place in our hearts!

Cow - R4 Trail of Roses was an amazing daughter of Motorscooter and showed on the circuit for some time! She was maternal, smotth made, and extremely friendly!!!

Hiefer - Rose was a huge-boned female out of a giant Oliver coew and sire by our bull - Groot. She has a full sister to watch also - R4 Play-doh

Hiefer - This heifer was outstanding and always place in the top three in her shows. She was a granddaughter of the great Cupcake cow and brede by R4 Ranch!

Cow - R4 Cinnamon Twist was an amazing daught of R4 Cheese Cake and a granddaughter of the world champion Cupcake cow! This was a great female and a strong milker!
